Join the Halal Assessment Council (HAC) as a Food Safety Auditor and contribute to upholding the highest standards of Halal compliance in the Food & Beverage industry. In this role, you will ensure that food manufacturers adhere to internationally recognized Halal and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site audits to assess compliance with Halal and food safety regulations.
• Review food preparation, handling, storage, and service practices in accordance with Halal requirements.
• Evaluate supporting documentation on ingredient sourcing, product labeling, and traceability.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Liaise with clients, including hotel and food industry professionals, to guide and implement corrective measures.
• Stay informed on updates to Halal and food safety standards, ensuring audits remain relevant and robust.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Nutrition, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala (written, verbal, and presentation).
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact with stakeholders across different levels.
• Certification as a Food Safety Auditor (e.g., ISO 22000 Lead Auditor) or equivalent industry experience is an added advantage.
